• Created By Darlene W
• This playlist provides parents understanding of the California Common Core Math Standards for Grades 3-4, specifically on Fractions, as well as providing examples, lessons, and activities to incorporate into their home-school curriculum. By the end of this playlist, Grade 3 students will be able to use fractions to represent numbers equal to, less than, and greater than one. They will solve problems that involve comparing fractions by using visual fraction models and strategies based on noticing equal numerators or denominators.

Students in Grade 4 will be able to extend understanding of fraction equivalence and ordering, as well as understand decimal notation for fractions, and compare decimal fractions.
