WEBSITE: Division of Fractions Jeopardy
  • Created By Ashley Scott
  • Description:
This is a Jeopardy game that can be used to review the concept of division of fractions in the "Division of Positive Rational Numbers" playlist. The maximum number of teams for the game is twelve, and the minimum number of teams is two. You will need a way to keep score if you choose to keep track of how many points each team gets. The website also keeps score at the bottom, but I suggest having students keep track as well for additional practice. Although an answer key is unavailable, teams are encouraged to verify each other's work by comparing answers if there is a doubt about a correct answer. This encourages students to reflect on their mistakes, rather than simply moving on to the next problem. Nonetheless, answers can be checked using an online fraction calculator (website listed below).
